About
You talk to the person running the machine.
Doometrix prints engineering parts in New Jersey and manages partner shops for the processes it doesn't run. Every file is reviewed by a person before anything is made.
Sheet 01
How it started
Doometrix began with an engineer and an enclosed Bambu Lab P2S.
The first parts went to an engineering contact at a large company. That team normally buys parts from the big online manufacturing marketplaces.
The printed parts fit. They arrived sooner than the usual route. Questions were answered by the person who had printed them.
Then came the question every useful supplier eventually gets: can we send you a purchase order?
Doing that properly takes more than a printer. It takes written quotes, invoices a purchasing team can pay, packing slips, and someone accountable when a part is wrong. Doometrix is the business set up to handle that.

What we do in-house
In-house printing runs in our New Jersey shop. The machine is enclosed and has a hardened toolhead, so carbon- and glass-filled nylons print as reliably as PLA.

What we don't do ourselves
Some parts shouldn't be printed on our machine. A shaft that has to hold ±0.02 mm. A bent steel enclosure. A clear lens. Two thousand of the same clip.
For those we work with partner shops: CNC machining, sheet metal, SLA resin, SLS and MJF nylon, metal printing, and casting.
You send the file to us. We choose the shop, share the file under NDA and agree a price and date. Parts come to us first. We check them against your drawing, then ship them to you.
You get one quote, one invoice and one person to ask. We don't hide the handoff: every quote and service page says whether a part is made in our shop or by a partner.
Sheet 04
How we work
- 01
A person reviews every file.
Before a quote is final, someone opens the model and checks walls, holes and orientation. If something will print badly, you hear about it before it prints.
- 02
We say no when printing is the wrong process.
If the part should be machined, molded or bought off the shelf, we'll tell you. Even if that means there's no order for us.
- 03
Your files stay yours.
They're used for your order and nothing else. Never shared, never reused, never shown as samples. A partner only sees a file when it's making that part, under NDA.
- 04
We quote what we'll actually charge.
The number on the quote is the number on the invoice. If something changes, we ask before we print, not after.
Have a part in mind? Send the file and ask.
